Fatherhood is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. Even with experience we can still fall short of fulfilling that responsibility. At times I have been stumped as a father, not knowing how I can fully meet the needs of the children I have helped bring into this world. The Academy of Black Fathers has helped me overcome my shortcomings as a father and has provided me with knowledge and tools to not only help me grow as a father, but also grow as an individual. I have been incredibly fortunate to have been provided with a scholarship to attend the classes that have been carefully created to meet my needs. I am grateful for all the help I have received from the Academy and the scholarship so that I could attend. I feel more fulfilled and more prepared as a father and as a young man. The information taught is life changing, I feel more confident and supported, and I'm ready to take on any challenge fatherhood may throw my way. Thank you Academy of Black Fathers.
